MINISTER ÖZER WILL ATTEND THE WORLD EDUCATION FORUM IN LONDON

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer will attend the World Education Forum which is considered as the largest education ministers' meeting of the World.

Minister Mahmut Özer will represent Türkiye in the World Education Forum which will be organized this year on May 22 and 25 in London with the participation of the Ministers of Education from more than 100 countries.
 
Özer will have various different contacts during the forum where problems and opportunities in education will be discussed. He will address ministers of education from more than 100 countries during the Ministers Session which will be held on May 24.
 
Minister Özer said that the Forum is providing educators the opportunity to make assessments about the existing situation and future of education.
 
"Discussions in the forum will determine education policies for a better future. We will share our experiences with the ministers of other countries. Covid-19 pandemic caused a global crisis in the education system. In addition to its negative impact on the physical, social and emotional developments of children, the pandemic caused harm in their academic life. We will make assessments especially about learning loss and its remedies during the forum. I will also mention about the developments achieved in the education system of our country in the last 20 years during my speech," stated Minister Özer.
 
There will be general assemblies, special groups meetings and 9 panels in the forum. The panels will focus on effective use of resources and establishment of a strong, supporting and better education system. Digital equality, technological developments and innovations will be among the topics of the forum.
